"We are going through a fundamental transformation in education. Like all transformations, we do not know when it started, or when it will end. But this much is certain that there is a generational transformation currently going on, globally and in India. In the process, many of the axioms that we now assume to be true need to be questioned. For instance, the University system that we all follow is about four to five centuries old, and it is what has been adopted from England. What is missing is contextualisation. If human context is missing in education, we are missing the bus. Because like all good things in life, the system has to morph, so as to be relevant."
