Sunil Jose is the Managing Director for Sybase India and is responsible for all of Sybase’s operations in India and the Sub-continent. As country head Sunil will drive revenue growth for the business operations for the region and will oversee product marketing, marketing communications, business development, customer service and support and professional services for the region. Sunil shall be looking at strengthening Sybase’s unwired vision in the maturing and evolving Indian IT marketplace, focusing on Sybase’s core strengths in business Intelligence and Information mobility for the enterprise.

Sunil comes with close to 19 years of global experience in sales, business development and marketing in the IT industry and the last nine of them in software, managing countrywide sales operations, channel management, marketing and managing business units.

Prior to joining Sybase, Sunil was working with IBM Software Group where he started in the Year 2000 as the Marketing Manager and went on to become the Country Manager for Tivoli. For the last 4 years Sunil was part of the Asia Pacific team in IBM Software Group managing partners and mid market / volume business, and his recent role was to lead the tele-sales, tele-web team for Asia Pacific which was responsible for license revenue in mid market and support-subscription revenue for all of IBM Software.

Sunil is a Post Graduate (General Management) from NMIMS, Mumbai.
