Thomas Stanley is Vice President - Global System Integrators for NetApp. Mr. Stanley has worldwide responsibility for NetApp market alignment with Integrators. In this capacity, the team that Mr. Stanley leads has complete oversight for teaming with these partners - bringing to market a variety of storage and data management solutions in the areas such as virtualization, disaster recovery, outsourcing, cloud computing, and storage as a service. NetApp views its technology offerings and approaches to the market key to NetApp’s and the Integrators’ continued business growth.

Prior to accepting this role, Mr. Stanley was the Sales Executive for both Civilian and National Intelligence businesses within NetApp’s US Public Sector. Mr. Stanley had profit and loss for NetApp’s storage and data management solutions which are often integrated and delivered in advanced systems for spatial imagery, intelligence and analysis to defense and intelligence. Additionally, some of the greatest accomplishments in that role were providing enterprise storage offerings to Civilian Agencies.

At NetApp, Mr. Stanley has also been the leader for Program Capture & Federal System Integrators. His responsibilities included winning large multi-year programs and driving annual revenue results based upon a 100% partnership with the commercial and defense contractor community. That business grew organically at record levels under Mr. Stanley’s leadership focused on meeting the needs of the Civilian, Defense and National Intelligence agencies.

Prior to joining Network Appliance in 2006, Mr. Stanley held numerous director level and other leadership roles at Silicon Graphics, Inc. and Kasenna (a medial streaming company) for over 9 years. Additionally, he spent over 10 years working for IBM in a variety of capacities in both technical and sales lines of business.

Mr. Stanley graduated with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University and he earned his Executive MBA from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota.

Outside the work place, Mr. Stanley has held a number of key community leadership roles to include A Better Chance, Human Rights Commission and TEAMPACT - his recently formed non-profit focused on mentoring teenage men and women. He’s married to Berdenia Stanley, Ph.D. and is the proud father of 3 daughters.
