Ravi Pandit, Chairman and Group CEO, KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd.
Ravi is a gold medalist and fellow member of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and
an associate member of the Institute of Cost and
Works Accountants of India. A graduate of Pune
University, Ravi has masters from Sloan School of
Management, MIT, Cambridge, USA. He has
extensive experience of over three decades in
the fields of IT, corporate strategy formulation
and management consulting.
Ravi is the chairman of K&P group which includes
Kirtane & Pandit Chartered Accountants, K&P
corporate solutions, a firm engaged in consulting
and stock options and KP consulting that
specializes in balance score card and activity
based management.
From his accounting roots, Ravi, along with his
team, has built a global IT, engineering & BPO
services company with leadership in sharply
defined focus areas. Widely respected for integrity, innovation and dynamism, Ravi and his
colleagues have successfully forged global partnerships with people, customers and investors.
Ravi also serves on the board of Finolex. He has served as the president of the esteemed
Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture and has also been on the NASSCOM
Executive Council twice. He is also a member of the board of management of Symbiosis
International University.
He has fostered partnerships with many countries and industry chambers to make Pune a
destination of choice for IT, BPO, design engineering & global automotive OEM /manufacturing
companies. Ravi has been a very articulate speaker at several national and international forums
on diverse subjects that include: Globalization, IT industry and its future, Engineering services
opportunity and Economic, labour & industrial Policy.
For his commitment to conducting business in an ethical manner and for the value KPIT
Cummins partnership has brought to Cummins, Ravi has also been honored with the J. Irwin
Miller Award of Excellence by Cummins. He has also been awarded the prestigious Rotary
Excellence Award for his exemplary leadership and outstanding performance in the field of
information technology. Ravi has been nominated as a member of the Core-Group on
Automotive Research Program Committee (CAR) which is a merger of the Program Advisory
Committee for Research and Development in Automotive Sector and the Core-Group on
Automotive Research.
An avid trekker, Ravi enjoys reading and listening to classical music.
