Murali Mahalingam joined Aruba Networks in January 2007 and serves as the Head of Information Technology organization. He is responsible for the company’s global information systems strategy. He brings over 18 years of experience leading technology and business process organizations in a global scale producing exceptional results. At Aruba, Murali has transformed IT into a strategic partner to the business by driving value.

Prior to Aruba, Murali spent eight years leading IT initiatives as the Director of Information Technology at Juniper Networks and five years at Sun Microsystems building business application systems. With his strong background in the field of Information Technology, he develops partnerships with senior business executives and jointly defines IT roadmaps and strategies. He also has extensive experience managing integration of acquired businesses into the existing IT frameworks. His core strengths include driving large IT transformations, implementing scalable and innovative business solutions and optimizing cost of IT operations.

Murali holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, India.
