Dr. Prasad Bhaarat Ram heads the Google R&D center in Bangalore, India. In this capacity, Prasad is responsible for working with the India engineering teams on the development of innovative Google products and technologies for Google users in India and around the world.
Prasad has worked extensively in software and online industries and has over 15 years of experience in computer science research and engineering. Prasad started his career as a research scientist at Xerox PARC. Prior to joining Google, he was Chief Technology Officer at Yahoo! India Research and Development in Bangalore.
