T Shivaram is the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Shriram EPC Limited, a single point solution to engineering challenges offering multi-disciplinary design, engineering, procurement, construction and project management services.

T Shivaraman comes to Shriram EPC with over 15 years of experience in Shriram Engineering Construction Company and Shriram Tower Tech Limited – Predecessor companies of Shriram EPC. Shivaraman’s key focus area over the next few years would be making Shriram EPC a leader in engineering and project management with a focus on renewable energy and process industries.

At Shriram EPC, he has been instrumental in forming several strategic global alliances. Some of these include productive joint ventures with leading companies like Leitner Technologies from Italy, Hamon Group of Belgium, Angerlehner from Europe and Envirotherm of Germany. Under his leadership Shriram EPC also acquired a controlling stake in Blackstone Group Technologies from America. He has successfully steered the company’s IPO (Rs. 150 crore) which was among the top 10 IPO’s in the country in 2008.

He began his career as a management trainee in ICI India Limited, a fertiliser plant at Panki, Kanpur. He holds a Masters degree in Heat and Mass Transfer and a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras. He is also a faculty member for short term courses on heat transfer at IIT Madras. Shivaraman’s hobbies include music, reading and quizzing. He has been a semi-finalist at the BBC Mastermind India Quiz
