Indian investments in global markets have shown a growing trend particularly in the last few years. Establishing an international presence is becoming increasingly important for Indian corporates. The first wave of global investments witnessed the emergence of several true 'multinationals' from India. The second wave is likely to see many more Indian companies going global.

To provide perspectives on global opportunities, issues and challenges that companies may encounter in their quest to invest abroad, KPMG member firms have planned a series of exclusive events titled 'India Goes Global' in Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai. We have invited specialists from KPMG firms in India, US and Europe to host this program. Representatives of some large Indian groups that have already successfully invested globally will also present their individual experiences.
