A.R.P. Raman

The real estate scene in India is not really as bad as it is being made out to be, though we get to see grim presentations of numbers and projections. In fact, the global buyer is of the view that Indian real estate is under-priced and is being offered at a discount; and he bargains for more discount, which again is generally yielded to by the Indian sellers who have been carried away by the grim picture. This need not be the case because the negative aspects of the ground reality, it appears, are being exaggerated.
