Abhishek Somany is the Joint Managing Director of Somany Ceramics Limited and spearheads the business operations of the company’s tiles and sanitary ware.
A graduate from the Richmond University in U.K, Abhishek did his initial training with Kanoria Chemicals and administered their industrial units. He later had a stint with Pilkingston’s Tiles, where he received specialized intensive training in manufacturing of glazed ceramic tiles, which enriched his knowledge and experience of the tile and ceramic business.
Abhishek started his career in the ceramic industry as a Management Trainee with Somany Ceramics Ltd and thereafter he held various senior management positions in the company. In the year 1996, he took complete charge of domestic marketing of the company as the President. In 2001, he took over as the Executive Director of Somany Ceramics and continued on this position for the next 3 years.
In 2005, Abhishek became the Joint Managing Director of the company and under his dynamic leadership the company scaled new heights, registering current annual sales turnover of Rs.35143 lacs. His wealth of experience, business acumen and an in-depth understanding of the marketplace, have significantly contributed to the growth of the organization.
