Mr. Srikanth, aged 41 years, is the Executive Vice President, Technical of Dhanus Technologies Ltd. At Dhanus Technologies, Mr. Srikanth has been the man behind for deploying the Digital Phone Service which involves development of an ATA, having SIP server, Feature server and other OSS servers as a service provider of IP based voice services in the U.S. He also overlooks recruitment and development of system support staff and is responsible for training people in the company’s BPO division.


Prior to joining Dhanus, Mr. Srikanth has worked with FarOut Ventures for projects on Support and integration services for soft switches like Interactive Intelligence (I3) and call flow etc. He has also had a stint with Appiant Technologies Inc. where he was the senior project head for telephony user interface.


He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and is a Member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) & Member of CATS (Classical Association for Thoughts & Sciences, PSG Tech., Coimbatore).

TeleServices Dhanus Technologies provides communication services to the mass market as well as well-defined niche audiences. Acquisition of Borusan Telekom


Dhanus Technologies recently acquired Borusan Telekom, an internet service provider company by Borusan Holding which was established in 2000. After 7 years with the lead of professional management, the Company evolved has the #1 alternative telecom operator of Turkey having access to most of the large corporate enterprises. Today, Borusan Telekom is the leader in enterprise internet services and fixed voice market among alternative operators with 26% and 23% market share, respectively.

For Dhanus technologies this acquisition was a much thought over strategic move as Borusan Telekom would serve a Gateway for Dhanus Technologies to enter the European, Russian and Middle East Markets and give them an access to the regional operations aswell. The growing GDP rate of the country with stable economy and availibility of huge untapped retail market serves as the right mix of opportunities for the company, in sync with its global plans.



Acquisition of Sreeven Infocom


Dhanus has entered in to share purchase Agreement with Sreeven Infocom on 15th April for acquiring 60% stake in the company. Sreeven was incorporated in the Year 2001. Its domain expertise being E Governance. Head Quartered at Hyderabad, the company has multi-locational presence. Promoted by Successful Technocrats from the IT Industry, the company has a track record of successful Projects. The company is on a Rapid fire Growth Strategy and aims at a target Revenue of Rs.1000 Million in 2009.


The growing importance of e-Governance in the domestic IT Industry is attracting interest from various tier-1 & 2 Companies who were so far only focusing on the export markets. Dhanus will strengthen Sreevens ability, both in existing and prospective contracts, to offer telecommunications and telematics services.

1) Your V-Tel global calling card has been in the market for about 4 years now. Are any significant patterns about usage visible in the analytics?

2) In what ways does your new product V-Tel mobile change the game? What has been the response to the launch?

3) How are you going about integration post-acquisitions? Are you currently on the look out for buys? In any specific lines? How do you find the present valuations?

4) What differences have been able to bring for the telecom user in Turkey after getting into the driver's seat of Borusan Telekom? Also, plans for the near term?

5) FleeTrack has been a flagship product for you. How good is its acceptance in the OEM space? What improvements are you bringing into the product? How expensive is it – to install and operate? Can you give us a schematic of its operation, and how it integrates with the customers' ERP?
