A Mother, a Wife and above all an Entrepreneur - an amalgamation, which every young Indian woman aspires to become. Dipali Goenka is an archetype of all these three qualities. With her positive attitude and complete dedication, Dipali is currently the Director of “Welspun Retail Ltd. (WRL).”

A Graduate in Psychology, Dipali is well versed with the dynamics involved in a continuously evolving Group like Welspun since its inception. She has single handedly driven Welspun’s retail initiative from its concept to execution and set up the aspirational brand “SPACES Home and Beyond”, followed by “WELHOME”, for the “Value for money” consumer. W.R.L. has set up a retail space of over 2,00,000 sq. ft. with 200 stores spread across 95 cities and is today the Largest specialized Home Textile Chain in India.

Under her able guidance, the Design studio of WRL today ranks amongst the best in the industry across the World. Dipali also believe that a Company’s future lie in the hands of its able employees - She leaves no stone unturned to add her valuable inputs in various policies pertaining to Human Resources. She along with each and every Welspunite strongly believes in giving something back to the society. The up-liftment of the status of the girl child is another priority for Dipali Goenka. Education being one of the main focus areas for Welspun, Dipali initiated the set up of Welspun Vidyamandir High School and Welspun Anganwadi in Anjar, Gujarat. Her active participation adds another sensitive dimension to her multi-faceted personality.

Outside Welspun, she had embarked upon a “Women’s Empowerment Initiative” with her active participation in the Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO) Mumbai Chapter, since its inception in 2005 till March 2007. The objective was to meet the unique needs and aspirations of women between the age groups of 25- 39 years from myriad economic strata.

Dipali has always been inspired by her enterprising mother who single handedly looked after a flourishing business. In spite of her hectic work schedule; Dipali balances both her family and professional life with total commitment and perseverance. She is also a professionally trained in “Kathak” dance from the “Jaipur Gharana” and listens to music in her spare time. She believes that everything is achievable and continuously looks for opportunities to help others.

Wow! I love the Christie's brand but was saddened that they were moving out of the concession in Debenhams Nottingham. As a licensed Fair Trade retailer I wonder if you'd be interested in this idea to pilot in Nottingham but to roll out across the country: empty shops in Nottingham filled by Fair Trade Retailers, the shops to work in sync with the online presence. We will be contacting you when we know more.
