2001 - 2005 – President, SET India
Shantonu Aditya joined SET India as President in 2001 to lead Sony's distribution business. He went on to head the distribution joint venture company between SET India and Discovery Communications India set up in 2002.
He then quit SET Discovery to join Sahara One as chief executive officer in July 2005. His responsiblity was extended to all Sahara's media and entertainment businesses. Shantonu Aditya quit Sahara One Media & Entertainment Ltd in April 2007 to join V7S Broadcasting as Chief Executive Officer.
A management graduate from XLRI Jamshedpur, Aditya had worked with UB group ( McDowell &Co ) in sales and marketing in Delhi and luggage major Blow Plast in various capacities.
