Hitesh is a core member of the Management Team and leads the day to day operations at Info Edge. He has been synonymous in setting up the marketing and sales operations at Info Edge which apart from Naukri.com also owns Jeevansathi.com, 99acres.com and Quadrangle. As a promoter, he keenly assesses all aspects of the businesses and prospects forays in to new businesses or innovation in existing products and is responsible for all operational and strategic initiatives of the company.



Under his management, Info Edge has grown from one portals to a six portal company. He is an authority on the internet industry.With almost 7 years of experience in the internet industry, he is part of industry forums, and is also a charter member of the TiE, New Delhi.



Prior to joining Info Edge in March 2000, Hitesh worked for almost four years as the Regional Planning and Distribution Manager (North India) for the Ice Cream Division of Hindustan Lever Limited, the Indian arm of Unilever Plc.



An alumnus of IIT, Delhi and IIM, Bangalore, he has always been an achiever and featured in the Director's Merit List at IIM Bangalore.

Naukri Gulf.com, was launched in the year 2006 and is an Info Edge venture catering to the Middle East market based out of Dubai.

Quadrangle is an executive search firm and has been an associate company of Naukri.com since 2000.

asknaukri.com, India’s first Career Guidance website was launched in July 2007. It provides calibrated counseling to all work related queries for its users which is relevant, researched, and customized.

Brijj.com, India’s first professional networking site was launched in August 2007. Brijj.com enables people to connect with their contacts and build a network online. On the site users can get introduced to professionals, find unexplored business opportunities, get referrals to exhibit their skills and expertise through known contacts. Milestones

March 1997 Naukri.com was launched. It revolutionized recruitment in India

April 2000 Naukri operated on a bootstrap model till April 2000. It got its first round of VC funding from ICICI Ventures. Post VC Naukri broadened its management team and product portfolio.



November 2000 Info Edge acquired Quadrangle, an executive search firm.



September 2004 Info Edge acquired Jeevansathi.com, a matrimonial site.



September 2005 99acres.com, India’s first real estate portal was launched as a gateway to the country’s property bazaar, and an information ‘exchange’ for buying, leasing and selling of all types of residential and commercial properties anywhere in the country.



March 2006 Naukri ventured overseas and launched Naukri Gulf, catering to the recruitment needs of the Gulf region.



April 2006 Private Equity investors, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers and Sherpalo Ventures bought 5% of the pre issue equity share capital by means of secondary purchase



November 2006 Info Edge raised Rs. 1,703 million by way of an IPO in the month of November 2006. The IPO got oversubscribed



March 2007 Naukri.com completes 10 years since its inception.



May 2007 Info Edge announced its annual results post IPO. The company achieved a profit before tax of INR 394.82 million in FY06-07, a 88 % growth over FY05-06. The company achieved a profit after tax of INR 270.67 million in FY06-07, a 104% growth over FY05-06.



July 2007 Info Edge launched asknaukri.com, India’s first career guidance website.



August 2007 Info Edge launched Brijj.com
