Bharathan Prahalad

"As Alexander the Great said, there is only one thing that is divine: the Idea. Everything else is a byproduct. Whatever we see around us, in the form of development, infrastructure, technology and so on, started off as an Idea. Every Idea needs to be fed with ambition, enthusiasm, and cooperative effort. What we need, therefore, are people who have high-energy, fresh Ideas that inspire, and an attitude to work as a team. Anything else can be bought and taught, except a strong positive attitude."

Bharathan Prahalad, Head – Human Resources for KLA Tencor’s India Operations

Prahalad is a great boss to have, a great mentor and a very good friend. He is a fun loving guy, who can make any dull crowd lively.

I have had the privilege in working under him for 2 years in ISCI. All the improvement and growth in my career and personal life is because of his guidance and motivation. Not a single day goes by without mentioning his name in the department.

He is a great fan of MGR and Rajini. He is a good cricket player.

Dear Anonymous,

Many a times many offers are made and many deferred at campus and there is this chance of it being a typo or a combination of both as I've known Bharathan for long as a service provider and as a colleague. He has always demonstrated a very high level of integrity at a personal and professional level.

Regards,
Rajesh
