About Suresh...

Vigilance Officer in ONGC and earlier with IOCL, both major public sector enterprises of the Government of India(GoI). Recruited in 1987 to Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). A Chemistry Graduate from University of Madras and an MBA with specialization in HRM. Published various articles and papers in different journals / forums. Came out with his own law called Suresh's Law of Corruption Dynamics and published it in the University of Passau, Germany in October 2005. Invited by the University of Passau, Germany, in October 2006 and presented the Axiom to Suresh's Law of Corruption Dynamics, called SIV-G : Self Imposed Vigilance for Good Governance.

Suresh is the Founder of SIV-G : Self Imposed Vigilance for good Governance which is now recognized as a movement. He launched a website www.siv-g.org and uses it to organize online essay contests for students (both college and higher secondary school) on themes ‘Good Governance’ and ‘Integrity and good governance’ and be in touch with the youngsters. A regular faculty in training programmes and workshops on good governance, vigilance and anti-corruption, Suresh is also a feature speaker in the India Integrity Campaign of CII-Young Indians. He is associated with academic and training institutions / universities and NGOs and has been addressing student community, in particular.

Suresh was selected for the 10th Commonwealth Study Conference held in March 2007 in India and Malaysia and was also selected as a Group Leader of 13 delegates from 9 different countries, which included a Parliamentarian, a Director of a Company, an Environmentalists, Union leaders, Journalists, Educationalists etc. He had the opportunity to meet Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam(when he was President of India), His Royal Highness, the Duke of Kent Admiral Edward George Nicholas Patrick Paul, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, Mrs. Sheila Dixit, the Chief Minister of Delhi and many other dignitaries and shared his vision and mission of SIV-G.

Suresh was invited by the University of Tenanga International (UNITEN), Malaysia to present his paper on SIV-G and his Law during the UNITEN International Business Management Conference (UNBMC 2007) in December 2007. He presented his paper and had an opportunity to discuss with Mr. Mohd Ali Rustam, Chief Minister of Melaka, Malaysia about his mission and vision.

Suresh is also Peer Reviewer for India for the Global Integrity Index 2007, published by the Washington based organization, Global Integrity.

Gifted the Mahatma Gandhi Sahayogi Puraskar (of Gandhi Integrated Forum Trust) by His Excellency Governor of Tamil Nadu on 15th August 2007, Suresh has now been nominated for the Lakshmibai Singhania – Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow National Leadership Award – 2007 (to be announced). He has also been nominated for the Yale World Fellow 2008 (Result to be declared in April 2008).

Happily married, Suresh is backed by the police officer wife at home and two daughters.
