About Ashish...

Ashish joined First Advantage Pvt. Ltd. as Group Chief Operating Officer for the APAC region in November 2005 and was elevated to the role of Managing Director (West Asia) in July 2006.

In a career spanning over 15 years, Ashish, a management graduate from Somaiya Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, has worked in various capacities in Sales/Marketing, Strategic Planning and Operations in the Manufacturing, ITeS and Service industries.

Before he joined First Advantage, Ashish was Director – Operations at Accenture; where he led the launch of the Mumbai BPO center, along with ramp-up of one of Accenture’s then largest BPO businesses from less than 200 people to over 1400 people across Mumbai and Bangalore. The Mumbai launch was credited for being the smoothest ever and the subsequent ramp-up as the best ever ramp-performance by the concerned clients (one of world’s Telecommunications giants). He was a part of the team that worked on making Accenture the first contact center in the world to be COPC 3.4 Gold certified.

Ashish was one of the initial management team members of one of India’s first third party BPOs - TransWorks Information Services Pvt. Ltd., now an Aditya Birla Group company. He played a key leadership role, as the Vice President of Operations, in making TransWorks the first contact center in the world to get COPC 3.2 and 3.3 certifications.

Ashish started his career with Ceat Ltd., the flagship of the RPG group. He progressively rose up the ranks to become one of Indian tyre industry’s then youngest Regional Managers. During his stint with Ceat, he played a significant role in re-structuring Sales, Collections and Logistics processes by being a part of the Strategic Planning function. He was a part of the team at Ceat that spear-headed the move from the traditional wholesale method of tyre-selling to retailing – a concept much ahead of its time then!

Ashish is presently on the board of First Advantage Pvt. Ltd. (West Asia) and is determined to establish First Advantage as the most respected background screening and end-to-end risk mitigation services provider in India. Under his leadership, First Advantage has strengthened its position as the undisputed leaders in the Background Screening arena and has been awarded the following accolades:
