N Chokkan started writing when he was in his primary school, But
thankfully, None of the stories(?) he wrote at that time made it to
the printing machine. Later, His first short story was published in
Year 1997, and that motivated him to write more, resulting in a short
story collection few years later.

However, Chokkan got into a feverish mode of writing non-fiction,
after a publication house asked him to write a book about his
favourite cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. That triggerred his interest in
non-fiction, which made the whole difference.

After that first book, Chokkan has written about famous personalities
from all walks of life: Dhirubhai Ambani, Infosys' Narayana Murthy,
Bill Gates, Wipro's Azim Premji, Lakshmi Mittal, Charlie Chaplin, Walt
Disney, Salman Rushdie, Khushwant Singh to name a few. In addition to
this, he is also specialising in business histories, in this series
his famous books are: Nokia & Google.

He has also written a book on Ayodhya, Covering the Ramajenmabhoomi
issue till date. His other political books are Nepal's History, and a
book on Hamas.

Recently, Chokkan started writing for children too and His book on A
P J Abdul Kalam, has created sales records on this field. He likes to
cover science related topics for children, in his simple and effective
narrative style.
