Mr. O.R.S. Rao has over 32 years of multi-faceted experience in industry, both in India and overseas. His experience spans over operations, marketing and sales and M&A . He set up and grew a number of companies and profit centres in India and abroad.

Mr Rao worked in senior roles in IT/ITES/Consulting industries in companies like HCL Technologies, NIIT and InfoTech Enterprises.


Currently Mr Rao is the CEO and Director of Cygnus Business Consulting and Research (www.cygnusindia.com), a global business research and consulting organization , with offices in 9 locations in India and in London.


Mr Rao did B.Tech. from IIT, Madras and MBA from NITIE, Bombay . He has traveled widely across the globe. He is actively involved in industry and trade associations like CII and FICCI.

Mr Rao is an invited speaker in several forums , both in India and abroad.
