G.S.K. Velu

Dr. Velu holds office as the Managing Director of Trivitron group of companies on the healthcare and technology front. He is also the MD of Metropolis Health Services (I) Ltd, the President of AMDSI & Head of Manufacturing Sub Committee of ASSOCHAM and CII. Capitalizing on his vast experience of over 18 years in the diagnostics and healthcare industry Trivitron Group of Companies has grown to become Rs.110 Crore group in less than a decade.

Dr. Velu firmly believes that India not only has the potential to become a Holistic Healthcare destination for catering to the healthcare needs of world, but also provides an opportunity for indigenization through cost effective products of International quality. A Ph D in Pharmacology, from IBAM, Kolkata, a graduate from Bits Pilani in Pharma and a master from LIBA, he is often called upon to represent India at various seminars/delegations worldwide to deliver presentations and lecture on the healthcare and clinical diagnostics industries.

He is also a proud recipient of some of the prestigious awards like Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani award – 2007 and The Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2006” by Modern Medicare. He is also the only person in the Healthcare Industry to receive “The ITM University Awards for Corporate Excellence for the year 2006”. He has also published scientific papers in ‘Journal of Interfacial & Colloidal sciences’, USA and ‘Journal of Biophysics and Biomedical sciences’, USA.

Prior to the inception of Trivitron, he was the Country Manager (India) of Ciba Corning Diagnostics/Chiron Diagnostics (presently Bayer Diagnostics) and subsequently became the Director, South Asia.

Trivitron may be big company but their principles are small.They just told their employees to leave without fulfilling their settlement.neither given their DA and mobile allowances which they are due to pay.

Trivitron showing themselves a big Co. in Healthcare Industry but their principal is too much harmful for those candidates who are joining here to build their future. Specally, careerist person shouldn't choose this organization. Lot of differences between offering packages and real take home, without any reason they are deducting offered KRA Amount, deducting salary. They just forced their employees to leave this organization without settling DA, Telephone, Yearly Medical & LTA benefits and other expenses. This organization has a hope to reach target of INR 1000 crore within 2010 which is most EMOTIONAL DREAM of Trivitron. The Co. who is replacing utility staffs with low graded so frequently this dream is not for them. Also the present staff's confident and wishes of ex-employees are not with them.
